Dr. Daniel Borsuk, a native of Montreal, holds both medical and MBA degrees from McGill University and specialized in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at Université de Montréal. He furthered his training with a fellowship in advanced Craniofacial, Microsurgical, and Aesthetic Surgery at Johns Hopkins University, where he participated in the first extensive facial transplantation as the first Canadian to do so.
Dr. Borsuk has significantly impacted care for patients with facial deformities in Montreal, establishing the city as a center of excellence through pioneering surgeries, including the world’s first scarless facial reconstruction and Canada’s first face transplant. He combines cutting-edge technologies with compassion in his practice at Sainte Justine Hospital for Children and his cosmetic clinic in Westmount. In recognition of his contributions to the field, he was named an Officer of the National Order of Quebec in 2019.
